... Unfortunately, after managing not to get COVID for the whole pandemic, Arlene tested positive the day before we were set to go up! We will be rescheduling for this fall... Please stay tuned!

MORE COMEDY! MORE DRAMA! MORE SATIRE! BE ENTERTAINED • BE PRESENT • BE INSPIRED
In 2020, they brought Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture their powerful play “Where You From? What You Be About?”
In 2021, they brought us their hilarious, but poignant “Video Mixtape Vol. 1: Art of the Possible”.
In 2022 – on June 23 – the Liberation Arts Collective will bring us
“The Mix Vol. 2: Live at the Batey”- their follow-up to last year’s show - LIVE and IN PERSON on the stage of the Repertory Theater.
Re-emerging from the pandemic, and to honor the indigenous Taíno ancestors of the Caribbean, they invite us to their Batey – a sacred space to celebrate life and the connections we have to each other. The dynamic husband-and-wife duo – of
Arlene Chico-Lugo and Eric Aviles – bring you a collection of short live sketches, music, dance, and video.
Guest appearance include Jose "Dr. Drum" Ortiz, Priscilla Flores, Clement Mensah, Yadira De La Riva, Belange Rodriguez, Rachel Castillo. Roxanne Young & Jovonna Park from Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company. Music by Marcelino Feliciano & Nicki Adams.
