PROJECT HISTORY
October 2025: For the Streets!
We created a new “acto” called ICE Games, a political satire addressing the attacks on our immigrant community. We were part of a collective of artists presenting political theatre hosted by Radical Evolution.
March -May 2025: Advocacy Work
We created an applied theatre workshop for immigrant communities to rehearse their rights when confronted by ICE with SEIU in Los Angeles.
October 2023 - June 2024: The Playground Open Mic
Eric Avilés partnered with Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture to create a new open mic series that brought community and Bronx playwrights together for an evening of sharing poetry, plays, music, and more.
September 2023: “Of Love and Resistance”
Stage reading of a new play in development at Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture.
March 2023 : “The Mix Vol 2- Live at the Batey”
In person event at Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture. Featuring 10 short live sketches, music, dance, videos, and poetry.
October 2022 : “Voter Suppression, The Horror Story”
Collaborated with Community Change Action on a street theater protest performance in Detroit in solidarity with the The Defend Black Voters Coalition, Michigan

Eric directs a solo performance piece about Kilusan’s experience raising a child with special needs.

Arlene and Eric take to the steps on the New York Stock Exchange in Wall Street to protest against the Vulture Hedge Fund cronies who exploit Puerto Rico.
